This past friday LA's Museum of contemporary art opened the Rodarte: States of Matter exhibition, where several pieces from the brand will be featured, including the ballet costumes Kate and Laura Mulleaby designed for The Black Swan, and some pieces from 2010 collections. "The fusion of art and fashion is one of the show's major themes, and the installation portrays the garments shown as "sculptural objects.""
